The last Chinese take away I had was a few months back.I was not at all convinced the Chicken dish was even chicken.
I thought it looked and tasted a bit odd, and had a funny texture too.
I spent the next few mins wondering whether it might be Goat, Cat or Pigeon or whatever, but it sure wasn't like any chicken I've ever had.
I couldn't eat it in the end.
Haven't had one since.

I remember a former colleague of mine(who used to work in the Food design industry)
once told me that food scientist had been asked to run tests on Iceland's chicken products, without being told what it was they were testing for
All they could prove for sure was that the protein source was from a mammal
!!!

No, I know Dongles, but that was my local take-away, so it was convenient really.
I don't like night driving to go further afield.
Might try the local Italian next and see if that is nicer.
