I would think that in some cases visits are arranged with the help of a GP but the onus is the the person seeking a claim to arrange it.
I find it sad when hatred of a political party causes people to look for things to criticise all the time and to let prejudice
colour all their views .
Horse before the cart Meg darlin' - if the 'nasty party' didn't pursue policies designed to be so 'nasty' then there wouldn't be such need to criticise them would there???

They are trying to do what they were elected to do. The left aren't really interested in the lot of the poor or disabled. The constant criticism is just a means of stirring up trouble for the hated Tories. They are against everything proposed by the Conservatives no matter whether the idea is good or not, even when some were originally Labour proposals.They will never be placated but will keep whining and whinging about everything piece of Conservative legislation, even though they have no ideas themselves above take from the rich and give it to us.

Compassion or not is really nothing to do with it.Where was the common sense used in arriving at this decision?
The poor boy is a quadruple amputee, what is he supposed to do?
He has been sent a bog standard letter and it would appear nobody was willing to retrieve the situation until the media took up the case.
