A gal after my own heart! I do the same thing...coach holidays, day coach trips. Talk to people, or not talk to people. It all depends on who else is on the holiday. On one Shearings holiday I ended up eating alone every meal time because of the table I was shown. Most others, though, was shared so more fun.

Sounds very relaxing.

Swanage is nearby and the little railway, Lulworth Castle, Corfe Castle...
Sounds wonderful, I haven't been able to travel over the years so I am now looking forward in exploring some lovely places.

We have fantastic scenery throughout GB ... I've given up going abroad ... too many lovely places here that I've never visited

Loved Great Yarmouth and the Broads when I was there last year

My neck of the woods Gt Yarmouth went to Wells next to the sea a few months ago. That was when I had a partner, now trying to get brave and do the solo holidays. Like a lot of you I don't always want to be with other people, but sometimes it would be nice just to chat.

Re: Solo weekend break

The first time you go away on your own is a bit scary ... but I promise you that there is nothing to worry about especially on coach trips.

You will soon get chatting to people and you will be surprised how many people are travelling on their own ...

I only book when the prices have been reduced

I'm on the lookout for something else in September
