I have certainly had worse, the endoscopy wasn't particularly pleasant, I wouldn't want one every day .

I also had a lump removed from my neck and insisted on having a local not an general anaesthetic. A nurse held my hand, I felt pulling in my neck and it was soon over.

Nothing is as bad as an induction/14 hours in labour and a forceps delivery .

Thinking of England was amongst my favourite things,
It seems that the noise factor is still there, I was thinking that maybe that would have changed by now

I found if you think of a tune to go with the noise it helps!
I don't like enclosed places so I kept my eyes shut, breathed slowly to stop pannicking.

Thanks Tess, I am not a fan of enclosed places either, I will follow your advice.

Good luck Rehab..I've never experienced it thank goodness as I'm a bit claustrophobic...I won't even travel on the Chunnel...just think pleasant lovely thoughts

Indeed and the hearing aids will need removing too
