He looked very frail in his later videos and interviews, bless him. I think he was 81 when he died.

Some of you music lovers won't believe this, but I had honestly never heard of this man before this thread.
I have since done some research on him. I watched a couple of his interviews, heard what he had to say, and then listened to some more of his songs.
Not only did I love his gravelly voice, I also liked the way he talked and his thoughts and views. He said he was a Monk once too. I was impressed.
How sad that he has now gone.
So thank you Richmond, for introducing me to this man.
