Re: My Career Versus my Family
Everyone's situation is different as are everyone's priorities. When young and at the bottom of the financial rung of the ladder, you probably have to climb the ladder, maybe as matter of survival.Re: My Career Versus my Family
Well we are totally opposite family came first every time, stayed put so they had stability. And the result is the older ones are working hard with sensible heads on their shoulders, one is married to lovely lady. So whether you moved a lot or like us stayed put it all worked out well in the end for the kids.Re: My Career Versus my Family
I always used to wonder what effect it had on the kids, if you had to keep moving with your career. I didn't have kids, so have no experience, but I have many friends who had to do this!Re: My Career Versus my Family
You are a brave man Ted, it takes guts to up sticks and move in order to chase a dream. No doubt your relocating gave you more wealth than staying put, and so all your family would have benefited from your progress. You obviously had skills that your company found precious, and you were rewarded for your loyalty and commitment, a good lesson to your children to work hard and be loyal....I'm quite sure that when you moved, you had your families best interests at heart...Re: My Career Versus my Family
