Bloody

As in Bloody "ell. Do you think this particulary offensive, and does it offend you?
Iit doesn't me , compared with what is touted around , I think it is quite mild, compared with the F word, which some seem to take great delight in using. I think the F word quite hateful and useless. That is my opinion anyway.

Re: Bloody

Not in the least offended by it and use it myself a bit. The C word is said so much now and I HATE that one!!! People seem to think it's funny, what?! I could never use that word and that would offend if said in my company.

Re: Bloody

No bloody doesn't worry me, although I tend to use blooming instead, or blinking heck.

Re: Bloody

It used to be considered blasphemous as it is a corruption of the phrase 'By our Lady'. While I do not like it - it is marginally better than some of the expletives that some people use these days.

Re: Bloody

I think bloody and bleeding are quite harmless, very very seldom do I use the ‘F’ word and NEVER used the ‘C’ word, the latter being extremely offensive and degrading in my opinion.

Re: Bloody

No bloody hell doesnt offend me ,ive heard far far worse in my time. Ive also said worse im afraid but not often and not out in public in earshot of people.
I cant bear the use of the "C" word as it really is awful to hear it said and it alters how I see the person using it as well.

Re: Bloody

I don't swear, but have found that word useful in the past and when you think of what we hear these days, I wouldn't even count it as swearing.
