The British and Irish lions had their first game of the tour yesterday
Against the Z imba lions up on the high veldt,( 1 mile above sea
level!) And scored seven or eight tries to win the game !
they seemed to cope with the altitude well despite the Simba
lions making them work hard !
This augers well for the B&l Lions as the Springboks have not
played a test match since winning the world cup !!

The British & lrish Lions are to play the three big provincial sides
in SA before meeting the Boks !
They will play the Natal side, the sharks first, next week !
Then they play the Transvaal side, The Bulls !
And lastly the Stormers in Cape Town before playing the first test
match against the Springboks !!
These provincial sides will be no pushover ! and the lions must
prepare for casualties before playing the tests !!
I am really looking forward to watching this series and hope we get
to see the games live ??

Oh shyte !!
Just learned some Good have tested positive for covid and the
second test against Gorgia on Saturday has been postponed !!
And the British lions have had to abandon their game against the
sharks as SA provincial teams are also suffering from covid !!
It seems the Lions will have problems finding opponents to
practise on let alone get a test match against the Boks ??
Oh WOE is me! 😭😭😭
