Yes when the nails are painted as they are now with maybelleine "hot salsa". But I wouldn't consider it with unvarnished toe nails. I have seen what can happen to feet and nails as they age but it hasn't happened to mine (yet). I've been using neals yard arnica salve on the skin of my feet this year and it seems to get rid of dry skin and heal the area in general.

Toenails can look a a bit dodgy as one ages, as can toes...
Ladies never ever have ingrowing toe nails removed, you will suffer in later life from nails that are nearly impossible to cut.
Wish I had never had mine off, or that my toe nails would stop growing.
PS my toes are lovely, no bunions hard skin or problems, it's just the ruddy nails.

Crikey Tiff, That sounds awful...how do they remove ingrowing toenails?
