How do you get through the day?

Without a little nod?

I try my best not to nod off to sleep during the day. I know it affects night time sleep - but I can't seem to help it!

Today I got back from shopping feeling hot & exhausted. Lay down to have a rest & read a book & woke up 2 hours later!!

Anybody here not need a daytime nod - Or perhaps you have controlled nods?

Don't tend to nod off too often. Having said that, I did doze off earlier whilst watching a program about Captain Cooke and the ship Endeavour.

Funny you should mention that, I was on a teams conference call at 2 0 clock .
Next thing you know it's 2.30.I must have dozed off for 30 mins..The joys of WFH.Luckily it was all a presentation so no involvement from anyone apart from the hosts
That's probably why I'm still buzzing at 11.30.!!!!

Think we've all completely zoned out of meetings at times. I occasionally used to zone out of my lessons while I was still talking. Luckily, none of the pupils noticed, 'cos they had already zoned out

I for some reason can't sleep when the sun is up. Not sure what that's about. Not from lack of trying.

Carol, I've found that just in the past 2 or 3 months, that about 6 pm I can't seem to keep my eyes open,,, so I have a lie down for an hour or so..and I enjoy that sleep...

Every day, a power nap works wonders. When I put my feet up 9n my recliner its lethal, cant keep my eyes open.

Re: How do you get through the day?

When I am up in the morning, I am awake until I go back to bed at night. No naps at all. Then about midnight, 2 minutes to fall alseep, and sleep until 7:30 or so in the morning.

I hope this continues for me. Although, experts do say a 20 nap is beneficial...I just can't doze.

Sometimes if it's cold, fine and very windy..like it is today in Sydney, for some reason I get a bit dozey. I think it's because it relaxes me so much.

Re: How do you get through the day?

I felt very tired yesterday
We had a long day and a journey that usually takes an hour and a quarter took nearly three hours due to the total closure of part of the motorway .
I always fall asleep watching tv .
