Wild flowers

Read where Nom said he specializes in wild flowers and so do I.

Dutch clover in the lawn.

We call it Blood Root for the sap is red

Black Locust trees are really beautiful now.

Chick weed that grows along the road side.
Hope to see more from you who like wild flowers

Re: Wild flowers

Oh I love wildflowers too! We're on an acre & the people that lived here before mowed every bit of it! We sure don't, only area we walk. The rest grows as field, since then, we have wild daisies, clover, St. Johns Wort, Goldenrod, little lady slipper type flowers, etc. Just love it. Now that Ontario banned pesticides years ago we always have beautiful yellow flowers, purple, white flowers growing against the roads & on the hills alongside the major highways. Gorgeous, love dandelions too

Re: Wild flowers

Thanks, Autumncolor...I am unable to walk any more so all the photos I take are from my car window or my bedroom window. I have never picked anything to get a better photo or arranged them for a better composition. I look at the flowers and pick what I think make a natural composition, with the help of cropping Also I love the autumn trees in color!

Re: Wild flowers

Thanks Shirley, when the birs go quite during June / July, then its a good time for flowers, insects, dragonflies, moths and butterflies. All of these test my ID skills.

Im still trying to identify this, found next too a pond in a wood, and about 4x lifesize.

Re: Wild flowers

Oh, I love all these. Beautiful colours.
We have oodles of wildflowers in the 'field'. Mainly daisies, but there's others - some of which are not in bloom yet.
Will have to get some pictures.

This looks like some kind of a geranium. Do they grow wild?
