Pronunciations (again)

My new watercolour sketchbook has a pocket for storing ephemera

Now that's not a word I would use ordinarily or ever hear anyone else use,
so I'm not sure I'm pronouncing it correctly in my head!

I'm saying eff- em- urrah
Is that right?

Ir is it eff-um-eera?
Or ee- fem- urrah?

I quite like it though. It's far better word to use than scrap pieces

I feel a bit sorry for ephemera. apparently, it only lasts for a day.

The word ephemera comes from the Greek word ephēmeros, which means “'lasting only a day.” Although not originally intended to be collected as art objects, some ephemera is preserved and collected for its artistic merit or historic interest.

Sad isn't it.

The site says Car-sul
I say Ca-sul
The site says Toe-mar-toe
I say Toe-ma-toe

Let's call the whole thing off!
