Re: Apps and Games

Candle lighting time London but no games.

Best game ever was Adventure (A dwarf has just thrown an axe at you) running on an Intel MDS and on a Control Data 1600. A big ol' beast with REAL WIRED CORE!

Anything running games since then - nah.

There's a few news sites and some financial sites on my smart(ish) 'phone but that's all.

Mine is mostly used as a statue, and in the car is an old Nokia bog standard thing for when I'm out and about. Mostly for a work station at home I use a tablet running "Andrex".

Not really, it's the only way to get used to saying them. Add to that, when you pronounce them incorrectly, the error is displayed on the screen.
I also 'follow' a couple of Italian posters on twitter and try reading and understanding what they write before using the translate tweet option. It's good practice.

Re: Apps and Games

Just thought of another that I find indispensable - Google Maps. Absolutely brilliant and links to my calendar schedule. I just tap on the address in the schedule and GM launches Not only does it show me where the address is, it also shows a photograph of the property and gives the option of navigating to the address.

Wow I didn't realise it could do all that!

Re: Apps and Games

WhatsApp and Google maps, that is all and they are for communication purposes. Computers for me have always been equated to work, games don't come in that category so have never interested me.
