Better late than never.

Kate Bush has annouced she is to perform 15 concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo in August and September, 35 years after she gave up touring.

One of the most influential and creative female musicians in the UK, and i would love to see one of her shows.

Yes heard about it. We were only talking yesterday on a post whether it was a good idea to bring back older singers with Tony Bennett at 87 doing a tour.
I do hope she goes well on her gigs and brave of her as you say Patsy to
do something again after 35 years of retirement. Mind you I don't think
she did a lot of touring as she didn't like it.
Wont be going to see her though, you couldn't pay me to go to London.

Didn't she try a comeback a few years ago and then sank back without a trace again? I wish her well but fear for the disappointment of her old fans..

I dont think she tried a comeback, but i could be wrong, last tour was 1979. She has never been away, but she is not a prolific artist, her last 2 albums Ariel 2005 and 50 words for Snow 2011, met critical acclaim, and she does do collaborations with other artists.

She certainly attracts some of the best musicians to perform on her albums, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Gary Brooker, Andy Fairweather Low, to name just a few, she does suffer from stage fright and gave up performing to concentrate on her family, so i hope it works out for her.
