The only alcohol that affects me these days is when my OH says "see if they have any whisky on offer" every time I go to the supermarket. `I like the odd drink. I drink socially, but the days of getting too silly are past. I just get a bit giggly these days and eventually may slip down under the table. Good job nobody seems to notice I've gone.

Lucky or unlucky people I guess . I cannot drink alcohol, not sure if that is good or bad, good I guess .Acts like poison and many times I have been off work next day having drank half to one pint.
These days I just have one when I feel like it and get away with it. Other people do not like it and try to push another down my throat and I say no. When I played a pub game and the loser bought the winner a drink and I said no, some got really nasty. In fact some still brought me the drink and I never drunk it, they got very nasty.
Bit like sex, some need to know that no means no.
