Some forums don't permit people to show them, and I think that is a good idea.

For the life of me I can't see why anyone would want to put pics of their young children on line. It's too easy for them to be Photoshopped and used by perverted people

Re: Childrens Photos/Info on Social Media

How do we know all members are nice people? ( no offence intended)
On TV a while ago there was a woman saying a pervert had copied a picture of her child to share with others with sick comments. I don't know how she found out, but it's horrible.
So it's not only them finding out where the children are you have to worry about.

Paranoia abounds. People post photos of children because they are proud of them and want to share their pride with others.

Why should we let fear rule our every waking moment.

You might think differently if the face of one of your grandchildren appeared on a porn site, which does happen.

I one posted some photos of my grandchildren on a forum and their mother went totally crazy, and rightly so.

Re: Childrens Photos/Info on Social Media

I love looking at the photographs of members children here and watching them grow and no I am not a pervert

If anyone want to look at children there are plenty of photographs freely available.
Try typing 'children' into Google, I bet there are plenty there the world is full of children so it is not surprising or try going to a beach, lots of children there too.

We haven't yet been reduced to locking up our children from public view or covering them from head to foot in a sheet, I am sure some people would like to see that. It is still a free country.
Where are we going to draw the line, no children on TV, in public places no photographs anywhere

Re: Childrens Photos/Info on Social Media

What others chose to do with their children is their business just don't complain when it all goes wrong and you find you are defending how your child looks from online trolls or unhappy because your child's face has been used in some nasty porn. Your choice but like many things these days rather daft to risk it IMO.

Considering that I don't frequent porn sites, the chances of me seeing my grandchildren on one is highly unlikely.

And I can only assume their parents won't either.

Have you told the queen that her great grandchildren may be at risk
