You know you're old when you are taking photo with your phone and realize that, in selfie mode, the frightening image on the phone is you causing enough shock to put you into cardiac arrest....

Then you are confirmed old because you spend the next several minutes (that feels like an hour) ineptly flailing and fumbling around, pushing any and every button because you are too inept to get the blasted lens switched back the other way, all the while desperately pointing the lens at anything or anyone but your scary face....

And then your ancient status becomes doubly confirmed when you spend the rest of the day absent-mindely mumbling that there must be something wrong with the camera to make you look as old as something in an Egyptian tomb ..

And that you probably should call your cardiologist and a plastic surgeon....or the funeral director.
