Tabby, it's about Captain Tom who's earned millions doing his sponsored fundraiser.There's talk of a spitfire flyby for his 100th birthday.
As the Queen's cancelled having a gun salute for her birthday .... any spitfire pilots better watch out they're not had by the local constabulary for a non-essential trip out.

I am the son of a WW2 veteran (El Alamein) We are unable to have our usual ANZAC Day here for obvious reasons but we will still be honoring our old heroes in other ways. The Victory of The Battle of Britain was an awesome feat. Those that fought in it should be honored in any way possible now and forever. But I take the point that raised money needs to be accounted for properly.20-04-2020, 06:22 AM
