What on earth has tourism on the Great Barrier Reef to do with FTAs? The biggest threat to the Great Barrier Reef is global warming not fishing.

The UK bickering with their neighbours won't affect any FTAs with Australia or NZ

Interesting quite from that article:

Australian negotiators will be laser-focused on addressing these tariff barriers, both in their own right and to level the playing field with New Zealand producers, who enjoy significantly superior acces

Who said the EU is unreasonable in going for a level playing field in their negotiations with the UK?

Hi Solasch, you are not really expecting a reasonable answer from this forum do you?

Let me guess: in a moment someone shows up and explains why the EUSSR will fail very soon. Something like that will be the answer to your question.

Best regards

What will the UK make of it? Will they relinquish an AUS/NZ FTA because being ruled or accepting others rules is inacceptable?

If not how will the UK explain that it does not accept a level playing field with the EU?

Tricky...

Here is the future explanation of brexit, and those poor brexiters. Propaganda of course.

Thank you for that link. From the UK governments point of view it will look like this:
- BREXIT delivered: check
- Taken back control: check
- Unleashed UKs potential: check

So it is an overall success. Especially point #3 is my favorite. That mantra ("unleash potential...") was used so frequently by B. Johnson and I never heard someone questioning that. What exactly were the leashes?

It's not a habit among brexiters to question their own motives and actions, nor those of their compatriots. Let alone those of their leaders. They always will be walking on a leash, individually and as a pack..

Oh thank you for your correction. I seem to have taken the number personally.

That YT guy "A Different Bias" has some interesting explanations in his videos. I watched two today and although I must admit having a little bit of a hard time understanding his accent, I somehow like his logical approach to the topics.

In a way that is what I am looking for: explanations and opinions of UK people towards Brexit. I would even prefer less emotional posts and less insults and less deflections.
