Spitty I hope your wife has fully recovered and that the elderly family member will be fit and well and home soon.

Yes Meg, the trip to the testing centre was interesting, and the cough when swabbed was epic, she has T cells we don't that is surprising.

Thank you LQ, I will do my darnedest to avoid catching it.

Sorry to hear about the other positive results from some of you. I wish them well.

It really annoys me Spit. As you know I work in a supermarket and since covid arrived I would say approx a third of my day is standing around, giving space to people while they do what they have to do before I can get on with my job. Quite rightly, some get very annoyed if you get too close but very few consider ME when they dive in over my head to take things off the shelves. It's like we don't exist. Unfortunately, we are unable to tell them off.

Best wishes to your wife and your other family member.

Re: A friend and Covid

ps. This morning, a rather scruffy looking elderly gentleman, pulled his mask down to ask me a question.

Re: A friend and Covid

Thanks LD, what has occurred to me is that folks think I am a risk, as I go about my daily duties, what they don't realise is that I am standing further away from them than they are from me.
