Exactly! .. I agree with pretty much everything you say except the definition of 'poor' is sometimes oceans apart depending on if Trotskying to the beat of a Lenin drum or not.

Come on UJ. We've also had to cram in the expense of a war or two .... remember that? Some goose chase after WMD's wasn't it? And off to Afghanistan. Meanwhile, every refugee who comes to Britain is estimated to cost 17k a year.

Go on, take a wild guess why there isn't enough money to provide for our own. These new bank notes are made of plastic not elastic you know.

May is weak. Too weak to steer us through Brexit.
Corbyn is an even worse option.
I despair of all politicians .. not one specific party.
Most folk have given up the idea of a 'clean' Brexit.
The reality is Brexit ain't never going to happen.

Brexit needs to be a Norway or Switzerland model. That is the only way to take us back to a situation where we can ditch austerity. The pound has immediately regained value with the hint of the ireland arrangement to keep NI in the single market.

Re: This piece of news will give some apoplexy!!!

Another lame thread from Commy UJ.

Pick a poll, any poll, just as long as it's one with the result you are looking for.

The "poll" cited was conducted by BMG Research specifically FOR The Independent. i.e. it is paid for puff.

Only 1910 adults were canvassed out of the millions amongst the electorate.

Only last week I cited an news article that highlighted a different poll by Kantar which put the Tories 4 points ahead of Looney Labour.

Worth noting that this particular BMG Research poll is out-of-date. The adults were canvassed back in 26th-29th Sept. We are now in December !

Still let's not let raw facts get in the way of a biased Looney Labour PR story eh???

That Labour and its supporters need to publish this kind of drivel is testament to their desperation. As I have said in other threads they seek to win by any means necessary, duping the electorate, employing convicted fraudsters, intimidating opposition MPs and their families, trying to make the electorate believe they are ahead . . . just lols.

And perhaps you should stop reading that third rate Marxist rag the Guardian. However, I notice that for all your inane bluster you failed to address my second paragraph, regarding trying to name any successful hard left Marxist government that didn't end up bankrupting it's country. Perhaps because you can't... ?
