The 2021-22 session started with the State Opening on 11 May 2021. All BJ intends to do by May 2022 is start the paperwork and appoint a mouthpiece .....

Perhaps the truly "independent" reports due out before then will provide an insight into the government's disastrous reponse to the pandemic.

Many others were infected and died but their symptoms were unrecognised, their details unrecorded or, worse, their names were redacted by rule changes .....

Who cares? it's all history now, and mistakes were made on a global
scale, not just in UK !!
If no citizens were repatriated from China at all then the pandemic
would never have happened ? At least not at the speed it did !!
Why weren't all flights from China cancelled untill such time as
the stranded citizens either recovered or were tested and found
infection free before bringing them home ??
This major mistake applies to all countries with citizens in China
at the time !!
I believe the WHO is going to conduct an enquiry into how covid
was dealt with, why do we need to replicate that in the UK ??
As we all know our enquiries tend to go on forever !!

Yes, let's forget that Boris Johnson's incompetence killed 150,000 UK citizens (the population size of York) - that's THREE TIMES the number killed by the Luftwaffe during WWII's "blitz" .....

At the height of the pandemic in the UK, this country had the highest death-rate in Europe and the highest number of excess deaths in Europe apart from Bulgaria .....

This, despite BJ throwing billions of pounds of public money at his cronies to provide "solutions" .....

BJ's mistakes were many but one of his worst was not even "advising" travel restrictions until 17 March

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/t...-17-march-2020

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab gave a statement advising against all non-essential travel overseas in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
I'm sure that the "independent" reports due soon will highlight the multiple (and disastrous) failures of BJ, his government, his appointees and his cronies in great detail ..... so I'll leave the rest of the list to them .....

It wasn't Boris Johnsons incompetence that killed so many people it was the lies, lies and more lies from the CCP and the WHO. If you want to point the finger, point it at the Chinese Communist party and its sympathisers in the WHO.

The truth will come out about the covid figures, the UK and the USA are some of the most transparent countries in the world about reporting deaths *with* covid.

All you do is fire cheap shot after cheap shot to swerve the attention from your fellow ideologists and try and blame other people. As I've said many times before, the truth always comes out in the end and when it does you will do what you always do and sit in silence waiting for the next time you can harvest some outrage from left-over, left wing newspaper clippings

Hi

The truth most definately come out.

Huge amounts of Public Money are spent on non disclosure agreements.

A certain Dominic Cummings was not given one and is not a happy Womble.

Boris also has to deal with Johnny Mercer, who is highly regarded in the Tory Party.

An NDA is a standard document in my experience, most of mine have been almost identical, just with different company headers etc.

Thank God Labour weren't in power over the covid crisis. They are an utter shambles in opposition let alone being given the keys to number 10 again.

You forget or ignore the fact that UK has particular circumstances
regarding our susceptibility to combatting a pandemic, such as
having high density population centres coupled with a very large
aged and largely sick portion of society that was/ is allready
dying and on its way to the grave !
This portion of society is the one that the virus is able to infect
and kill most successfully and UK was unfortunate that we had/have
such a large one !Due mainly to the efforts of our NHS in keeping us
alive ?? Other countries don't have this problem, therefore most
of their elderly die younger than ours??
But the main reason for the pandemic itself is what l posted earlier !
The repatriation of citizens from China !!

Re: Boris Johnson vows to set up Covid inquiry in this Parliamentary session

Just finished listening to some news in oz with a new report out regarding failures all along the way from the beginning in Wuhan that took a month to lock down the city to the WHO who took probably the same time or longer to call a world pandemic
