I think morning glory is bigger than that, or it should be.

I know this plant as convolvulus as well as bindweed. There are very many cultivated varieties which are well worth growing. I do agree though the wild version is very invasive and needs controlling a bit.

Bindweed has the same heart shaped leaves as Japanese Knotweed pauline.....I was thinking the same when Dex pointed it out...
