I've just got up and watching BBC1.
The last 2 results have been around the Leave 52% Stay 48% mark with around 74% turnout, so very close.

The £ against the $ has dropped to an all time low since 1985.

Now results are in can we stop calling those who voted out racists please, some of us want to trade and belong to the whole world, have ties with our commonwealth neighbours strengthened and have immigration, controlled immigration from around the globe not from one tiny part of it.

Something of a surprise for me. I feared the 'remains' would just scrape through. Delighted at the sensible result.

Now we just have to hope that 'they' don't completely ruin the forthcoming negotiations

Indeed I went to bed ready to admit defeat today had to read the headlines three times to make any sense of it.

I too hope we chose well who negotiates I started a thread asking for suggestions.
