New Weetabix

I quite like a couple of Weetabix in the morning, so I thought this new one would be worth trying. Obviously it has more fibre, etc, but it has a rather gritty taste, a bit like eating gravel! I would assume there is enough fibre in the normal Weetabix, so I''ll be giving this feller a miss!!

Re: New Weetabix

I've tried several of the Weetabix "variations" but the only one I've stuck with is "Banana", which is not (apparently) sweetened ..... but I buy packets of dried banana to add to oats and cereals, anyway .....

Yes, I've tried fresh fruit with original Weetabix, but I preder using dried fruit since I can vary the "mix" every day .....

Anyone tried 'Oat so simple'. Great for hanging wallpaper.

Re: New Weetabix

Protein Weetabix has been around a few years. It's yet another product made by manufacturers looking to cash-in current fads.
It's a tasteless cereal IMO and you'd need to consume about a hundredweight of it to build any kind of muscle.

Protein shakes are such big business and I have tried many versions of them over the years. Recently I ditched them altogether and noticed myself actually losing weight and feeling less bloated because of this. You can get all the nutrients you need from a sensible, balanced diet.

So are Kiwi kids! And it's spelled correctly for the last 50 years.

Take two weetabix - spread with cream cheese - add marmite - delicious!
