Sugarfoot (US) became Tenderfoot (UK) - I can't remember why .....

ETA It was thought that UK viewers would not recognise "Sugarfoot" as a "Western" title (ack. "The Happiest Trails" by John Booker).

Laramie was an American Western television series that aired on NBC from 1959 to 1963. A Revue Studios production, the program originally starred John Smith as Slim Sherman; Robert Fuller as Jess Harper; Hoagy Carmichael as Jonesy; and Robert L. Crawford, Jr. as Andy Sherman.

More "Purty Boy" than Slim .....

I use to love Wagon Train and Bonanza. High Chaparral too.

Which one had Trampas in it? Was that Bonanza or High Chaparral? I used to love him.

Doug McClure (May 11, 1935 – February 5, 1995) was an American actor whose career in film and television extended from the 1950s to the 1990s. He is best known for his role as the cowboy Trampas during the entire run from 1962 to 1971 of the NBC Western series, The Virginian.

Yes, played - if I remember correctly - by a young Dennis Weaver. He later had his own series "McCloud" and he also starred in Stephen Spielburg's debut full length film - a seriously weird thing called "Duel"!

My mind is just full of useless information!
