The acting is so good. Considering it is a fairly low key programme (ie no car chases or police shoot outs), that hour seems to pass very quickly.

Can't wait to find out what happens tonight.

I always love a good twist so I will be slightly disappointed if it ends up all straight forward.

If it doesn't end properly with a full stop and and a line drawn across, in other words a preparation for a second series, I shall be
VERY ANNOYED!!!

Re: Blood TV drama

Well I say!
Certainly not the final episode we were thinking it might be!
What a clever clever clever finale, where we saw what really happened.
And what a truly fantastic performance from Mary.
10/10 in my book.

Yes excellent! Good twist, although I can't help thinking he wasn't altogether a nice man.
Also if I was Cat I wouldn't have left a gun with someone who was suicidal
Why hide the frog or did I miss something?

Re: Blood TV drama

It was a ending wasn't it not quite what i expected . I found it very moving.
I missed the first episode so wasn't sure at first if this was a repeat of it .
Halfway through i thought the finger was pointing at someone else .

Re: Blood TV drama

I thought the ending was very powerful but some unanswered question for me.

SPOILERS!

As Tess says, why hide the frog? She fell and hit her head on it so why hide it? And if you were going to hide it, you would throw it in the middle of the lake, not leave it by the edge where it could be found.

Why did he pretend he wasn't there when she died?

Why wasn't there a post mortem? They would have discovered that she was asphyxiated.

Why did he collapse in his surgery? I suppose that could have been stress.

Why did he have money problems? GPs earn around £100,000. per year.

Over all though, great acting so I give it 9/10.
