A Christmas Carol

If you can free up just an hour of your precious time then sit down with a cuppa or a festive drink and enjoy this, it's absolutely brilliant.

I guarantee that by halfway through you'll be captivated!!

Re: A Christmas Carol

Yes thanks for this Ruthio. I only noticed it was on TV last night and forgot to record it. I like Simon Callow a lot and this should be good.

I also have George C. Scott's 1984 film version of A Christmas Carol to watch on DVD over Christmas.

Nothing will beat the 1951 version with Alister Sim as Scrooge.

I think it all depends on age, Wishbone. The 1984 version is more of my era, but I have seen the Alistair Sim version and it's an excellent film.

I'm with you on that Floydy, the George C Scott version is my favourite too.

Re: A Christmas Carol

This isn't a new film "version", it's Simon Callow narrating the story, there's nobody else involved.
It's amazing!!

Yes I know. It's a one-man play isn't it Ruthio?
