if you are actually asking rather than stating, I'd say moderation is necessary, some posters can disrupt a site causing it to have a bad reputation which is why many forums have closed, we wouldn't want it to happen here which of course it wont because it is moderated and troublemakers wont be tolerated13-09-2014, 05:12 PM

Also, an extra mod, would give Meg and Mags more breathing space ......

Yes I think it's a great idea, to give Meg and Mags a break. It must be very time consuming for them. It's alright us sitting here spouting off this, that and the other, but the mods will be grateful for another hand, I'm sure.Regarding the question of having no mods, there are some folk who would start a fight in an empty house and there needs to be someone who steps in to let them call a halt.
