Baron Evans is responsible for a few errors in judgement himself, one such being his having been in charge when four suicide bombers killed 52 and injured hundreds more soon after MI5 stopped watching one because they didn't consider him significant.

That aside, the obvious clubbing-together of the old boys club is repugnant.
Hi

A simple answer, she is the worst Home Secretary we have had for a Decade,

A complete nightmare in fact,

Scared of her own Shadow,

All mouth, but no action,

Even May, a complete nightmare went out at nights on the frontline to see what was happening.

I did not have have the Luxury of a prescribed contract.

Mine was very simple, as and when in detail and then the kicker.

Anything you are instructed to do, what ever it is, unless you are told in advance that it is not illegal.

But Boris is in the position of Prime Minister after an election voted his party into power with him at the helm on his policies, so it is by public assent.

When have the public similarly voted for any civil servant?
Baron Evans was given this job on Theresa "Treason" May's say-so and once in position for the 5-year contract (as you now realise from earlier discussions) he cannot easily be removed.

You're allowed an opinion.
Fortunately the only person whose opinion really matters has decided otherwise.

It is your bias and fear that is at the heart of your opinion but she's not going anywhere.
Get used to it - and to the fact that she has a great deal of support, hence her being where she is.

.
You have just spent the last few pages arguing against bias in the system and now it's ok because it's Boris?

Not true.
Why write what I have not said?

It seems I must say it simply:

The UK public democratically voted for Boris and for Priti Patel.
The UK public has never democratically voted for a civil servant.
Therefore Boris and Priti have the vote of the public and a civil servant does not.
(Especially one that earns more of the public's hard-earned than the PM does.)

I am trying to figure out where I saw it (BBC website or Yahoo news or Metro UK website) but on one of them it was reported that Patel is unable to act on what she wants to act on because international law on asylum and refugee's prevents her from doing so.

How does that make it ok for Boris to be biased?

Are you kidding?

Our PM Should be biased!

Biased to act in a way that favours our country, it's people, their culture, their values and more.

To hell with everyone else.
