Trump’s law firm pulls out in Arizona

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...-b1721639.html

Donald Trump’s lawyers in Arizona have pulled out of a suit challenging part of the US election vote counting process in Arizona’s Maricopa County.

A judge granted Snell & Wilmer’s request to withdraw as counsel of record for the Republican National Committee, which together with the Trump campaign and the Arizona Republican Party had brought legal action alleging the county incorrectly rejected a small number of votes cast on election day.

Re: Trump’s law firm pulls out in Arizona

President-elect Joe Biden is projected to win the state of Arizona.

https://news.sky.com/story/joe-biden...trump-12131320

Mr Biden is projected to win the battleground state for the Democrats for the first time since 1996, reports NBC News.

But with postal votes still being counted, the result in Arizona was only declared in the early hours of Friday.

Mr Biden becomes only the second Democratic presidential candidate in seven decades to win the traditionally Republican state. The last Democrat to win Arizona was Bill Clinton, 24 years ago.

It gives Mr Biden 290 Electoral College votes, with Mr Trump on 217.
Good for Joe .....

ETA Biden's slim lead keeps reducing (11k now) & there's said to be over 22k votes left to count.
A margin of around 0.3% of the total vote so far is the slimmest of margins and if it sinks further to 0.1% it will be an automatic recount.

Rumour has it Bidens first phone call was to Adam Boulton to thank him for his biased coverage throughout the election
