Why not have a lie in.
Apparently, this year will be one second longer to compensate for the Earth's slowing rotation, say the scientists.Bit it is feared the 'leap second' added at midday on 30th June by experts at the International Earth Rotation Service in Paris, could spark internet crashes!
They say the extra second is needed because the Earth's rotation is gradually slowing by around two thousandths of a second per day.
When the last 'leap second' was added in 2012, Mozilla, Reddit, LinkedIn and scores of other web sites, crashed.
So, the day after the 30th June this year, everyone on the Earth will have an extra second.
They say every second counts, so use it wisely.

That’s interesting Mups, just imagine if you saved up all those seconds for 36,000 years you’d be adding a whole hour on to your life, yipeee!I love the name of that instutute “The International Earth Rotation Service” in Paris. home of the Worlds finest Spin Doctors no doubt. How do they get these plum jobs? make them up for themselves? and how are they so sure it’s exactly one second, no more no less, chancers if you ask me.

That’s even worse Mups, it would take a couple of million years then to get an extra hour.I couldn’t think of anything one could possibly do with an extra second, now if I was a young butterfly and only had a day to live I might be able to squeeze in a midlife quickie, say at around 1pm.
