I’m so glad for the family of Colin Pillinger that they were able to confirm that his beloved Beagle 2 did in fact land on Mars, and just about on target too! Pity Colin didn’t live to hear the good news.
I presume they meant land as in ‘a meteorite has landed'.
Britain became the third nation to put junk on Mars and it only cost 75mil pounds. Brilliant let's do it again. I think it could be described as 0% successful.

Listening to one of the team on the radio last night I think they were right and it's an exciting project, just hope we can carry on and go further. Yes it costs money but in the case of space it is money well spent IMO
