Gratified to see that Keir Starmer was forced out a pub in Bath, best laugh I've had in ages. He was confronted by an anti-lockdown supporter outside a pub complaining that Labour should not be agreeing with every government action regarding Covid thus damaging the hospitality industry, before Starmer moved past him and into the pub. What Starmer didn't know was that the protester was the pub's landlord, who, after following Starmer in, was man-handled by Starmer's bodyguards and pinned to a bannister.
The Landlord (Rod Humphris) began shouting for Starmer to get out.
A truly memorable, enjoyable event, regardless of how your stance on the issue.
Just as good of a laugh can be had from the headline:
"Let's all raise a glass to Rod, the landlord who spoke for millions when he stood up to the politicians who have destroyed an industry and turned our country into a fun-free zone"
You can see that the landlord tried to have a discussion with Starmer, but he ignored him, and also said
'I really don't need to be lectured by you'
And that, not surprisingly, is why the landlord became angry
So now we know the attitude of the leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition towards the electorate
