You seem to be treating them like some kind of social pariah or law breaker. Yes ... we all know Covid is serious and so we all follow the guidelines/rules/laws the government have implemented.
Convi-19 is a killer and there is nothing that people can use if they catch it. At least if people catch the flu there are some remedies out there that help alleviate some of the symptoms and pain but with Convid-19 there is NOTHING. As such I find it incredibly disheartening that I thought people who should know better (due to age and life experiences) would support hugging people knowing there is no cure or remedy if they was to catch the virus from the person they are hugging, or they give the virus to the person they are hugging.
How can anyone defend such behaviour? There have been numerous media articles where there have been family get togethers, mainly birthday parties and people have caught the virus. If your in your own family social bubble then yes, you can hug those within that social bubble BUT anyone outside it, even family members, no, no hugging because the risks are too great. You cannot defend such a thing.
Big sigh ... you haven't read a single word I've typed have you.
I'm glad I'm not your neighbour, that's all I can say. You must be fearsome , with a long lens camera at the ready in one hand and your mobile in the other on quick dial to the local police station.
