Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Hate to think what the temperature is here. Should have been in Cardiff tonight seeing Miss Saigon, but had to cancel. Luckily I managed to swap the seats for two next Monday and swap the hotel room too. Jamie spent most of the day shovelling snow (with one arm!) but we had an avalanche off the roof onto the conservatory which was so heavy that it bowed in one of the panels. Youngest son managed to get to us and has pushed the panel back up but whether it is weather tight or not remains to be seen. We've now managed to get the rest of the snow off the conservatory roof, but the guttering is damaged and will need a considerable amount of repair when the weather is more clement. What a day! Boys here again tomorrow as the schools are still closed. Phew!Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Foggy and very cold this morning.Glad to be in for the rest of the day.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Sad about your neighbour Rhosyn . Hope the snow is gone Sue xxRe: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
I was amazed at how much snow had thawed during the night, we must have had quite a bit of rain. Avoided cabin fever by getting out and driving to Llandrindod to shop. Roads were not too bad (bit narrow in places) but the car park at Aldi was quite a challenge. A kind soul came to my aid by pushing the trolley to the car for me, some people are lovely aren't they?
