Re: At my sons house.

I am at my sons house again.

I love being here, the grass doesn't look as if it has been cut,(all that rain)

The pansies are holding on for dear life.

Dishes piled up in the sink!.

But for me,to support/help my son,is an absolute joy.

And I bet most of you mothers, feel the same.

How do you help your family members?

Oooops, forgot to put you lovely fathers as well,

Re: At my sons house.

I certainly wouldn't wash his pots up Pauline. That seems to really be taking advantage of you. If he is old enough to live by himself - and if he wants to leave his pots in the sink then fine - he has to live with it. When you go you should be taken care of and he should have the manners to tidy up before you get there, IMO.

Re: At my sons house.

My son,has just started up his own business,Aeroler, plus he works for an employer.

It was only the dishes,I love helping my son,he has been a good supportive son to me,especially when I had my heart operation,he couldn't have done enough,..when I got better,he went back to his old ways,of being spoilt.

But that is who I am,we love and adore each other, and we both know it.

Do you have family members that you spoil,Aeroler.

Ps,it is I who asks my son ,if I can come, stay and help him.

Nah - I hate washing my own dishes - let alone anyone elses.
