A google tranlate part of a dutch site. Those in english are from UK sources. They don't know sh*t about 'kaken of herring'.

That was the british way to handel it in the past. It took a long time for marine biologists to convince them otherwise.
As you can read in the guardian article, the brits are not the quickest to follow the signs of the times.
