Open Minded

Is it good to be Open Minded, or is it just an Open Invitation for Squatters?.

Re: Open Minded

I think I'm open minded and I've had different squatters over the years - most have gone now, still left with a few stragglers!

Re: Open Minded

I think I am fairly open minded and that's good as long as your brain doesn't fall out

Re: Open Minded

I think it's good to be opened minded, as long as you're alert to who and what you allow in.

Do you suffer from squatters, sounds painful.

Re: Open Minded

Ah,squatters..hmm.

Mumble,dribble...

gets guitar out.make it up as i go along.

i call this one:

Piles of the mind..

A choice to come, to become bitter and old,or warm in the gang or alone in the cold.
A choice to take,to stay awake,to open your mind,to place your stake.

Do you hold those thoughts,do you declare those dreams.
is freedom of the mind just what it seems.
A gamble to fight,a gamble to lose, open your mind, what do you choose.

Let it all in,let it all out.so many thoughts and yet so much doubt.
what is real and what is not,was that love or was it rot.

Are we ,now. or were we, then..was it all real, was it pretend.
Am i open minded or am i a shell.
for squatters to inhabit, for others to dwell, their desires to grow, their thoughts to bind.
havent got a clue cos today as i have .....piles of the mind.

:chuckle:

sorry, got my jethro tull head on today.

Re: Open Minded

Good day to you.
Yes very open minded to most things as long as they are legal, not violent and don't sit so heavy on my head that it hurts... I feel far too many people shut down open minds and thus don't continue the learning process nor their understanding of some areas of life.
