So sorry about your cat, it´s very hard losing a loved pet, but you did the right thing for him. I hope your health issues are soon just a distant memory too.

Been there, dunnit several times over the years ~ last time was at the end of January and it was as devastating as ever, but I ALWAYS have to find another cat to adopt asap and found my latest (tabby) at the RSPCA.

Here he is with my other pussycat who's a bit posher than him and abt a year older (2 and a bit)

You would think they really love each other, but ... she's a bit of a bully

They are definitely sorting it out though and I have every hope that they'll settle into having a wonderful relationship

I am so sorry that you no longer have your beautiful cat. Saying goodbye to our pets is the hardest thing that we have to do, but we do it because we love them and don't want them to suffer.
You did what you had to do for a loved pet who had a wonderful life with you while here. XX
