Gerry Goffin

Gerry Goffin passed away yesterday at 75.
He & his ex wife Carole King were responsible for helping to change the face of pop music.

Some of his dozens of hit songs were:Gerry Goffin's key songs written with Carole King:

— "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," The Shirelles

— "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," Aretha Franklin

— "Take Good Care of My Baby," Bobby Vee

— "The Loco-Motion," Little Eva

— "Go Away Little Girl," Steve Lawrence

— "Pleasant Valley Sunday," The Monkees

Re: Gerry Goffin

Many of the songs of Gerry Goffin provided a musical backdrop to my teenage years .
I think he was a very talented songwriter...

Re: Gerry Goffin

Yes I used to sing along to all of the songs he and Carole King wrote.
They were just what you needed as a teenager in the 60's.
RIP Jerry
