The barriers to political participation must be removed and the stranglehold of the big party machines broken, so that the power can be taken out of the hands of the insiders, the moneyed interests and the Westminster power brokers – and put where it belongs: in the hands of the people.
Why do we still vote for two parties that have trashed the country in our lifetime. For every step toward one makes the other takes two back.

There was already the start of a run on the banks pensions had been raided 3 times, the economy was about to crash, mass unemployment, houses being repossessed and businesses going bankrupt.
Then there was the letter saying there was no money left.
