I think it's a marvellous idea, it is much easier to get on with someone you don't live with.

I knew of a couple who married at a later age but lived apart. They said, it was for pension reasons.
We plan on doing pension splitting to save a bundle on taxes but don’t have to live apart

I wouldn t mind if Mr had his own annexe because he's the untidiest man on the planet and it drives me mad.

No matter how I would split up the living arrangements, I would still come home to find me in the house, so in my case, it doesn't much matter. .
