Yes I've been thinking about a whole range of stuff, inc taking a 4k video of a moving subject. 60 frames per second, taking, say, 3 of those frames and overlaying them on my pc and playing with maybe offsetting them, maybe giving each layer a different hue (?).

Anyway ....

I posted a link above, and I've now watched the video mentioned there ... inspiration.

Thanks for your kind remarks!
The good thing about "experimental" photography is that you don't have to be able to get out and about. Turn out the lights and grab a torch, mirrors, coloured lights etc. and you've got shadows, lights, reflections ad infinitum.


Without "exertion" and you don't need a shower afterwards!

The third pic in my "messing around" album on my profile page was done with a round led light, moving the camera. Sorry can't work out how to put it here.

I had a go but with no luck. More practice needed.

He says ..."hold the camera still for a fraction of a second"(with the shutter open) "then whooosh whipping movement" how is one supposed to time that right?
