Horses head

I am trying to work faster and smaller to get a looser painting

Works better this is 12”x12” and there is less background to worry about

Re: Horses head

one thing I can't do is draw a picture, absolutely hopeless at it. That horses head is really great.

The only time I have been on a horse someone put the tail where the head should have been

I did watch an artist at work and asked what he was drawing. He said a horse and cart. I said I can see the horse in your picture but not the cart. The artist said that the horse had to draw that

Re: Horses head

I love horses and have been drawing them since I was a child .
Used to get into trouble drawing them all over my school books .

Re: Horses head

looks great Muddy and as you say, much looser which gives it a nice bit of movement. I completely understand when you say you are trying for a looser style. Anything I did was always a bit rigid because of my graphics background. I always had trouble trying to loosen up a bit. You have done it though.
