Holy Island, Lindisfarne.
There are a few Holy Islands, this is Lindisfarne in North Northumberland.
A trip with the local RSPB group last weekend, was quite but 77 species seen. As it was quite i took a few snaps and did some sketching on a gentle wander round. At first it was misty and promising, but the sun came out so no chance of much luck with migrating birds.

The Monastry was founded by St Aiden circa 634 AD.
