As my hobby is photography and wildlife in particular I know how hard it is to even get a photo. You are either in the wrong place-the weather is against you- the camera settings are wrong- waiting for hours for nothing- poor light-wrong lens-the subject is facing the wrong way etc etc. I think wildlife photography is one of the hardest areas in photography to work on. Most others such as portrait- still life- landscape or architecture allow one to have time to get set up for that "perfect"shot", but not with wildlife no second chances. That is what makes that photo so good

So right Bazza - I'm a huge fan of wildlife docus, especially set in Africa, the cameraman have the patience too - thank goodness

I saw this photo as soon as you posted it...love it! Any photo with a bird or critter in it is mostly luck when you get it right...as realspeed said, so much againest you. Sorry it has taken me so long to tell you how much I appreciate seeing this.
