Local Town Fiesta

Our little local town had it´s procession last night. It got off to a very wet start but it takes more than rain to stop things here. The rain cleared up long enough for everyone to have fun.

Well that's a sight we don't see very often from you Loretta .... rain in Spain!

Another colourful, happy event .... the Spanish people put so much time and effort into these festivals and they must be a joy to watch for everyone. The costumes are amazing!

They do seem to like these parades, some of the residents must be very dedicated to produce all these wonderful costumes.

Terrific pictures Loretta, shame about the rain but they don't seem to mind. That last chap in his togs, if my old mother had seen that she would say "He must be hot in his leather", God rest her.

Thank you all. Yes they do go to a lot of trouble and they really enjoy themselves. It´s a very small town, more of a village really, but during the two week fiesta time there is always so much going on and the atmosphere is always happy, probably because every other float is one with beer, wine or soft drinks, free to everyone who wants it of course
