The best thing you can do is make sure you wash your hands as soon as you get home and don't touch your face or eyes etc while you are there as that's the most common way of catching it rather than from people coughing etc.



I entirely agree Anita. In fact, I wash my hands as soon as I come in from shopping even. I've touched supermarket trolleys, toilet doors, money, all sorts of things bacteria can easily be lurking on. And that's before I've dodged the nice people who sneezed down the back of my neck on the bus or escalator!
I'd feel safer with my dogs germs at home any day!
