It was mine too but ive had Shingles and had the jab for it too ,..It comes and goes in different places and different degrees , at the moment one side of my face feels burnt and sore .
I wonder if i could have shingles without the rash .

I've been bitten by a snake and by a scorpion once in Algeria but the worst reaction I ever had was to some kind of fly in Iran.
I know it's Winter here but I've been stung twice outside in the past 2 months so I'd check for any tiny marks that could have been an insect sting.
Antihistamine cream is often better than tabs with allergic reactions. stevmk2

,the stabbing pain does remind me of the Shingles pain , I believe i had it very mild compared to others that had it last time
Ive taken paracetamol with the Cetirizine today ,and it's eased it ,im finding by evening time the Cetirizine is wearing off and all the symptoms are back .
